Windermere Manor Hotel

Staff and rooms were pleasant, had a fab stay at this family friendly hotel. I ate at a great restaurant for breakfast or dinner. The bed was lovely and the balcony had particularly good views of the garden.

Liked how impressive the property was and its courteous staff on Manager who cares. The English breakfast was very satisfying and had hot chocolate, fruit, croissants, muffins and pastries.

Booked family room with climate control and armchairs. The hot buffet breakfast was rich and generous, lots of options.

Fairly clean place accompanied by decent staff. Great bedroom. The restaurant is pleasant, serves delicious dishes.

Quirky accommodation, the breakfast was gorgeous, pleasant location right opposite the lake. The pool was great and I had complimentary drinks in the cafe bar.

Big size family-friendly hotel, the people and location were PERFECT. The breakfast offered hot chocolate, tea, fruit, croissants and pastries, was on beans or scrambled eggs. Everything was simply very good.

Great value for the money, reliable place. The staff was welcoming and the location was great cental - altogether an unforgettable experience. The breakfast selections were generous, I loved yoghourt, slices of fresh bread, eggs and cheese.

Everything was superb except the room that definetly could have been cleaned.

The king room was nicely furnished and reasonably priced. Separate shower was huge and everything was lovely.

We spent a fabulous time here, fine stuff and rooms.

Friendly professional staff, comfortable bed and fab location. Fine breakfast, efficient service. Room was extremely pleasant and adequate, included coffee and two big windows. Relaxed by the pool, it was clean, especially when the weather was warm sunny. We recommend this hotel, it was spotless and basic.

Unbelievable sea views, very pleasant food. Location was breathtaking for exploring this fabulous area. Patient staff were more than helpful, made sure our stay was brilliant! Easy check-in and very efficient customer service. Free mineral great cocktails and spirits in the pool bar, easy parking place.

It was a perfectly pleasant experience overall. The check-in was early, we enjoyed cafe bar. Lots of options for breakfast including croissants and muffins. Cosy room, comfy bed and nice sized bathroom.

Also, it will take you about 5 minutes walk to reach queen adelaide.

do not compare windermere manor with other hotels. it was decidedly a characterful base for disabled. nearby the crafty baa - great place to chill out. thanks to waitress, who often helped us. balcony was a good bonus.

Enjoyed the superior room we had. The best breakfast - muffins, cereal and croissants. Besides, it offers free WiFi.

If your plans include visiting brockhole lake district visitor centre, you should stay here. We greatly enjoyed the location and food and low off-peak prices. A free Wi-Fi worked well. This hotel suited the needs.
